We have a seasonal camp in the area and always like to make a winter time trip to the area to check in on it. We love Hallowell, so this seemed like a good option for a long weekend. We loved it! This one bedroom/ two bath property was one of the best we ever stayed at: fully equipped and stocked kitchen; fabulous bathrooms; and cozy den and dining rooms. Fireplace did not work but enhanced the warmth of the interior space. Highly recommended. "

"The lake access was so pretty and having all the basics for kitchen and laundry was so helpful. Going in the heat of summer was the only issue, as there is just one AC unit in the living room so both the bedroom and the kitchen stay really warm.
