"Very cute and cozy cottage with easy access to the town and the university. Excellent host. Looking forward to booking it again during our son’s study years at Longwood University."

"I give this cabin a five-star rating! It was incredibly cozy, spotless, and made me feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Awesome house with dual master bedrooms. Super comfortable beds and plenty of gathering room in the family areas."

"The staff was very nice- the room was horrible- no towels-fridge was dirty-no batteries in the remote- everything was unplugged. Bathroom had bugs in the corners- tub was in terrible condition- spider webs in the corners and little bugs all over the floor- mattress cover was stained and dirty- the sheets were clean- didn’t see any signs of bed bugs, which was a blessing- room needs paint and updated-"

"We enjoy the quiet & peacefulness of the property. Very close in proximity to what we were interested in doing on our trip. Thank you."

"Home was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, towels, bedding, etc. The only thing is that the listing says that it can sleep six people which is possible, but I would recommend no more than five adults or four adults and either two kids on the pullout couch or one adult. "A serene spot inside and out. Renee was super kind and considerate. If you’re looking for a retreat there’s no better place. The lake access also a wonderful amenity."

"What a wonderful place to stay in Amelia. We enjoyed this spot so much. Pristine cleanliness, everything you could image needing or wanting and an awesome space for enjoying hanging around the house with family. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future while we are visiting our son at HSC."

"Great backyard and porch. We loved it!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable house! We really liked the open wall-mounted clothing racks and the open room/kitchen design. We were staying for wedding close by and the open clothing racks in the bedrooms were perfect and convenient! The house was very clean. The hostess was quick to respond to a question and access was easy. Highly recommend!"

"The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. Our POC for the house, Megan, was soo accommodating. The wedding date shifted by 2 months when the military had other plans for her fiancé, and we were...

"Family room had a nice layout for us."
