"I went with my mother during the centenary celebration of the apparitions at Fatima and wanted to have a real feeling of the town, and not stay at a hotel. Albergue Pereira was a great choice. It is a family-owned guesthouse for many years, and staying there was like going back in time. Room was spacious, bright and clean, beds maybe a little firmer than I would like, but this I find is normal in Europe. Black out drapes ensure a dark, quiet restful environment. Front staff is kind, courteous, and most helpful Lots of parking, there is an underground, which we used as we were there for a couple of nights, but beware the narrow drive in, we had a small SUV and the vehicle alarms were screaming at me on the way down.
