"Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel and my room always looked clean and inviting. Meals were tasty and well presented.
If had to make a criticism it would be that there was no portable (temporary) air conditioning and the windows in my room (Charles 3rd) could not be opened. A large fan had thoughtfully been provided before my arrival but in the heatwave simply moved the hot air.
Bar and restaurant staff were excellent and despite seeming to be switching between roles at times, there was never much of a wait.
This was my first break in 2 1/2 years and was very relaxing. Would definitely visit again."
