"We visited during a winter storm. The host was very responsive and cleared the driveway to help us get in and out. The grill, sauna, fireplace, and hot chocolate made for very pleasant evenings! Lake Arrowhead Village is nearby and is a pleasant place for food. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Architecturally, this property makes no effort to blend in with the "forest mountain" atmosphere of Big Bear Lake." The building itself was purely functional. I appreciated that the attendant asked if I had a preference for upstairs or downstairs. (He accommodated my wishes.) Otherwise, the attendant was not particularly friendly and did not actually welcome me. Also, he exhibited a strong foreign speaking accent that I found hard to understand. The room was clean and had all the basic necessities. There was some slight pre-existing damage to the wall that should be repaired before it is qualified to be occupied. There is an outdoor night club directly across the boulevard that featured a rock band playing into the night, however the sound did not penetrate the walls of my room -- although it may have done so for guests in rooms closer to it. I feel that this room was overpriced and did not represent good value."
