"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "What an amazing place to spend Christmas! There was a Christmas tree in the window, right next to the fire. We slept great, enjoyed wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen, explored the area, walked to a pub or two and just relaxed. Loved our visit. Bernie, that checked us in, was the sweetest. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening.
