Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly!
The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference.

The door to the room needed a very strong pull to open. My elderly travel companion with arthritis wasn't able to open the door. If I hadn't been traveling with her, it would not have possible for her to get out of the room. We had a room in the old stable section of the hotel.

Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel.

Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay.
