'Treehouse' in the Redwoods - sleeps 4!

"Loved this place! The host was so sweet and left us seeds from their garden to plant at home! The property was accurately described, and spotlessly clean. Also, the neighborhood and the yard on the property are gorgeous! The beds and couch were so comfy, and the kitchen was so well-appointed that we could have cooked a variety of things there. We were a group of 3, had no trouble fitting all of our things, and felt like we had plenty of space to relax. This is not a space that would work for some individuals with disabilities, since it's up a flight of stairs over a garage, and the bathroom is on the small side. If that doesn't throw you, you'll love staying here.The location was perfect for what we aimed to do - we were there for a wedding at the Sequoia Retreat Center 15 minutes away, and also to see redwood groves (Henry Cowell State Park is 10 minutes away), and the beach near Santa Cruz (just under a half hour away). This place is super close to Felton's downtown, which is full of adorable shops and lovely cafes, taverns and more food than you would guess for such a small town. Lovely stay! Would absolutely return."

Huge backyard with fruit trees, hot tub, grill, fire pit, etc. Joseph was extremely prompt about replying to any questions. Great local dining. Don’t overlook the amazing sandwiches at Masood’s deli 2 blocks away!"

"*NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING* This is why the Good not Great rating. The property listing of the house itself was accurate and Sarah was very prompt on responding. However, the description of the access road is not as informative as needed if you are considering this rental. If your plan is to use it as a hub to come and go throughout the day please know and considee the following; The road is VERY narrow. We have a Kia Teluride, 84 inches wide outside edge mirror to mirror. Any vehicle bigger SHOULD NOT be driving this road to a rental property. Our daughter with 3 kids in a Toyota Van was uncomfortable with the road and checked into a hotel. The road traverses up a hillside the whole way with a couple of switchbacks and with hill on oneside and dropoff down over house on the other. You must pull to the side for anyone coming the other way and there are MANY houses on this road with few but skinny turnouts to access. If your plan is to go stay in the woods and enjoy a beautiful redwood stay, ABSOLUTELY A GREAT PLACE. But you need to know and should consider the access fully as well. Again, REALLY enjoyed the house itself. House is very well equipped. Sarah was always available."

"The property is spotless, comfortable, and offers plenty of amenities. My kids loved the hammock and the jacuzzi outside. We even threw the football around in the yard. Great place to come and relax and have time together with friends and loved ones. Would highly recommend!"

"The property was fine but nothing special. Kind of pricey for 3 couples. Spacious living areas but not particularly warm and inviting. The third bathroom is off the kitchen…not near the bedrooms. Therefore 2 of the smaller bedrooms share one small bathroom. Only one hand towel, shower towel and washcloth per/person for 3 nights. No beach towels or extra amenities. The kitchen was ok but no extra spices or cooking oils etc…The back deck/porch was big but the furniture could use sprucing up as the cushions were worn and dirty. On the plus side we were given early entrance which was nice and made our travel to the area easier. The hot tub was clean and hot!"
