"Beautiful and peaceful stay! We loved being surrounded by the redwoods with the river flowing right nearby. Getting soaked in the river was such a fun and refreshing experience. The cabin was excellent, comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a family getaway. We stayed in Cabin 11A, which was right behind the river and just an easy walk away. We had a wonderful time with our family and truly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Definitely a memorable stay!"
Charming 3 Bedroom Home

"The property was fine but nothing special. Kind of pricey for 3 couples. Spacious living areas but not particularly warm and inviting. The third bathroom is off the kitchen…not near the bedrooms. Therefore 2 of the smaller bedrooms share one small bathroom. Only one hand towel, shower towel and washcloth per/person for 3 nights. No beach towels or extra amenities. The kitchen was ok but no extra spices or cooking oils etc…The back deck/porch was big but the furniture could use sprucing up as the cushions were worn and dirty. On the plus side we were given early entrance which was nice and made our travel to the area easier. The hot tub was clean and hot!"

"Beautiful property with excellent amenities (new appliances and bathrooms). Deck chairs were a bit old but everything else was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a family. Home is steps off hwy 9 but it was still amazing and a great location to get to lots of beautiful redwood park’s and Santa Cruz boardwalk and wharf."

"This was a great find! A very relaxed neighborhood with easy walking to the Main Street, coffee shops & Henry Cowell state park! The pool was great and the house well stocked with lots of essentials. The beds are very comfortable & overall the house was spotless.Capitola is about a 25 min drive with most restaurants being dog friendly and Santa Cruz 15 min drive. Scott's alley is also close by for any bigger stores or chain coffee shops etc. I would highly recommend this VRBO!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with family or a larger group.One of our favorite surprises was discovering that the property is made up of three separate homes within one private compound. Each home has its own kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, which gave everyone their own private space while still allowing us to come together and enjoy time as a family. It was the perfect setup for our multi-generational vacation.The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a beautiful pool, a relaxing jacuzzi, and a spacious grassy area where everyone could gather, play, and unwind. We also brought our three dogs, and they had plenty of room to run around and play. The layout made it feel like our own private retreat, and it was wonderful knowing the dogs had so much safe outdoor space to enjoy.The owner was fantastic—responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. That level of hospitality made a great vacation even better.This property exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a peaceful, spacious place that’s perfect for families, groups, and even pets, this is the place!"

"A nice stay in this sweet, cozy, clean and quiet rental. The place was nearly perfect for our needs. We loved the peaceful street, the beautiful gardens and cute pets in the yard. Would it have been nice to have access to at least a small part of the yard to relax in? Yes, but the lack of outdoor space was disclosed in the listing. We'd give it a perfect rating but for one thing...This rental really should have some type of AC. It was extremely hot the 2 nights we stayed. One day was over 100 degress and the house stayed hot much of the night even with the fans on, all windows open and temperatures outside cooling way off. Even on the 2nd night with much cooler temps, the house stayed uncomfortably warm. I think because it's over a garage and gets afternoon sun, it's a hard space to cool off. We'd love to return, but maybe will wait for cooler weather or for an AC unit to be installed. Still, even with the heat, we really did enjoy our stay and hope to return."
