"The hotel is within the walls of the citadel. There is a shuttle service for your luggage after the taxi drops you off as taxi's cannot enter the walled town. Great to stay and be able to walk around at night and experience Carcassone."

"Perfect for a stay in Carcasonne. Close to the bridge and restaurants. A short walk over the bridge and you were open to more restaurants in the square. Hosts were really helpful at all times. Rooms although compact were clean. No coffee or tea facilities in the room but empty water bottle to fill at the water station. We used our own bottle as not sure how the previous one had been used. Hairdryer in bathroom in the drawer and clean towels and shampoo/conditioner and soap in the bathroom. The rooftop terrace is very small only suitable for a handful of people but perfect for a view of the medieval city in the evening. Did not have a car but no area to park outside. Breakfast was continental and delicious with various options for all palates. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel has a great view of the castle and the roof top bar is definitely a bonus. The room was clean and have everything we needed however the toilet was in what can only be described as a cupboard with no space at all. The decor was too dark so much so that we couldn’t find the light switches! The carpet was black and when we dropped a black hair brush on the floor it took us 10 Minutes to find it!"

"Excellent location and the views from our room was worth the price of admission. The room felt a bit tired and bedding could use an up grade. Lots of nightly turnover so the hotel always felt very busy."

"I booked last minute due to being stuck due to train cancellations. The property was very close to the train station, market, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is onsite laundry facilities as well. The room was spacious and clean. The area was peaceful and safe."

"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."
