I can't speak on behalf of a family experience as I traveled alone, but the staff are extremely friendly and hospitable, they made sure to tend to everyone of my needs.
The hotel is right on the edge of the Medina which means taxis can travel right up to the door step of the hotel, the food is affordable and the breakfast was always great.
The address is totally wrong. The address is actually a small corner in the deep side of the complicated lanes which is far from the Blue Gate by 16-minute walk through numerous lanes. More unbelievable thing is that the real riad is far from the wrong address, which means you still need to walk approximately 7 minutes through many sub-lanes. A man assigned a boy to lead us to the real riad and requested us not to follow the boy too close. Everything is suspecious and horrible...Quilt cover and sheet were dirty and there was even turbid water droplets on water closet on toilet lid...Due to its inconvenient location, my old mum could not afford and I asked Expedia to help me to get refund for the successive two nights, the hotel staffs approved to do so not only to Expedia but also to me in person. But finally they refused to honor their commitment, shameful and disgraceful!
Can't recommend this place enough! Enjoyed the stay here. Conveniently located, clean rooms etc. But the standout was the quality of service from staff. Extremely helpful and facilitated a good trip to Fes. Hope to be back one day.
The staff at the Riad Dalila are excellent - from the courteous Khalid, to the incredibly helpful Mohammed and Salim.
However, after a long train ride from Casablanca, I had to trudge up 3 floors to a room that had 4 tightly fit beds and a tiny bathroom. The bathrooms are a big minus and so are the stairs. If you’re not able-bodied, those stairs can be a bit much.
The interior of the Riad is absolutely gorgeous.
Every detail has been attended to and the decor is just beautiful. Also, the breakfast was delicious and getting it in my room every morning was a huge bonus! Really loved that.
Thank you Mohammed and Khalid.
