8/10 Good

This riad was not ideally located for my preferences, as it felt quite far from where I wanted to spend most of my time. If you don’t mind walking through the alleyways to reach the shops within the medina, then the location may work for you. For us, however, it felt a bit inconvenient.
Upon arrival, we were taken to a room that was not the one we had reserved. We had booked a quadruple room, but instead were given two separate rooms. While this arrangement might work for some travelers, it didn’t work well for us, as we were separated. We were three travelers with three large suitcases and three carry-ons, and we were expecting a more spacious room—specifically the downstairs room that was shown in the listing photos when we made the reservation. The rooms we received felt small, and we’re still unsure why the original room was not provided.
The riad itself is quite outdated, but that didn’t bother me much. It has a vintage feel that fits the character of a traditional riad, and I can appreciate that it has been kept true to its time.
Breakfast was simple but very good, and the staff was helpful and kind throughout our stay. Overall, while the riad has charm and friendly service, the location and room arrangement did not meet our expectations.
