"Samuel the host met us and showed us around the property explaining all we needed to know. The property had air con in every room which was such a benefit in the very hot weather we had.The property overall was very good the garden a bit uneven under foot so could cause problems for someone unsteady walking. The kitchen in particular was fantastic and enough crockery and utensils to accomadate 20- 30 people if not more .The beds were all comfortable and with a family of 10 from 64 down to 2 we all slept well. Would definitely recommend this property for a rural holiday. Great cycling/ hiking track on your doorstep and shops within 5 min drive or supermarkets 15- 20 mins away"

"Great place and a great host. Pity that we could stay only one night this time. We appreciate that Valerie helped us with all the questions that we had asked. We really liked her green approach: no plastic used; she made her own juice and yoghurt. Everything else (jam, honey etc) was stored in small glass containers."

"One of the best hotels I have stayed at. In beautiful surroundings with a rustic charm but with fantastic modern rooms. The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you and were bilingual, which was a big help for me. Effortlessly conversing in English and German. The bed was comfy, the shower amazing and the TV a nice big size. The restaurant was fabulous and every meal I had there was delicious. I loved the outside areas too, either cooling off in the pool, reading a book in the tranquil gardens or having a coffee next to the river. The perfect stay!"
