Overpriced hotel

Beautiful villa however the room was quite dusty. We were told breakfast wasn't included even though we had a confirmation for it, in the end they agreed to add it but it was awkward and made it look like they were doing us a favour, when in fact it was an issue between themselves and the provider. Breakfast was quite poor. The hair dryer in the room was broken (we changed it), and there was no shower gel or shampoo and not extra pillows to read. The staff weren't wearing masks when making or serving breakfast. The loud TV at reception woke up us at 8am. Overall we felt it was overpriced for what they offered.

Beautiful small hotel

Villa Symbola was a beautiful hotel hidden in a mountain forest with a stunning view to Ölüdeniz bay. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. We even got sütlaç dessert one evening :) The breakfast that is served by the owner in the common terrace is very basic Turkish kahvaltı. The area itself was very quiet till the evening when the nearby hotel’s bar was opened with live music... though they stopped before the midnight. We were rather surprised not to find any shampoo or any other amenities in the room (except for the hair dryer). Luckily Ölüdeniz with small shops was within a few minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel does not have a restaurant so we also bought some take-away food from Ölüdeniz that we enjoyed in the terrace while watching the last paragliders to return to the bay from their trips and the sun go down. A slight disappointment was that the room did not have a private terrace as advertised when we booked the room. One common terrace was luckily a few steps below our room and was not used by anyone else. The room was spacious and clean though upon arrival we noticed that some items were in a need of repair such as the bathroom soaprack that had fallen down and one bedroom lamp and a fridge that were not working. The lamp was quickly repaired and the fridge was replaced with a bigger one. Despite some negative remarks made here, Villa Symbola was a wonderful place to stay and we will surely return there again.

Omatoimilomalla perheen kanssa Turkissa

Aivan IHASTUTTAVA paikka. Ehkä kaunein ja miellyttävin hotellikokemus ikinä! Boutique-hotelli huokui rauhallisuutta ja oli perhematkailijan (4 viikkoa)Turkissa fantastinen päätöskohde. Tähän hotelliin voisin muuttaa asumaan! Heikkous oli, että kohde ei sovellu missään määrin liikuntaesteiselle (itsekin vanhenen...), eikä sitä voi suositella pienten lasten perheille (erittäin jytkkiä kiviportaita). Omassa perheessäni on teini-ikäisiä, joten allasosasto ja muu ympäristö sopi meille hyvin. Pieni miinus myös siitä, että hotellissa ei ollut ravintolaa. Huoneisto oli kuitenkin varusteltu täysin toimivalla keittiöllä, joka onkin sen markkinointivaltti. Sijainti, sijainti, sijainti... Ei ehkä helteillä kävelymatkan päässä Öludenizin kauppa-/ravintolakaduilta, mutta siksi se olikin niin rauhallinen. Lomakohteissa etelän meluun pääsee aina, mutta tässä paikassa voit nauttia linnunlaulusta merinäköalalla! Toivon pääseväni takaisin ja viettää parin viikon rentoutusloman. Ehdoton suosikkini!

Amazing Villa with excellent sea views!

Amazing stay in a picturesque location! The villa's groundskeeper/manager/breakfast cook is very respectful of your privacy and of any needs you can communicate. He made our family a lovely breakfast each morning. He was readily available for any questions we had. The location requires a 15 min. walk to the beach or you can take a taxi ride down. The view from the villa, the gorgeous terraces, the cleanliness of the rooms, pool and decks were perfect! We stayed in the Bodrum villa with two bedrooms--twin beds for our two kids and a good sized bedroom for us. We were lucky enough to have the entire villa area to ourselves,as we arrived in early April, before the busier months.

Off season, lousy service, gorgeous view.

We were there off season so I contain my negative thoughts to what is not seasonal. The bed was terrible, the sheets cheap and scratchy and it was cold. I the address Hotels.com provided did not appear on the GPS app and when I called the staff - of one - could speak English nor give me any sort of directions. I managed to find the place by driving to Olü Deniz and finding the sign. Now that being said, the hotel was very inexpensive. The staff,of one, had our traditional Turkish breakfast, as it was, ready and provided as much instant coffee as we could stomach. I would imagine in season with a proper staff you would have a better experience, but the bed and linens were terrible and we were given one towel. But as I said for the price I couldn't expect much more. It was the price of a pension and we had a rather large albeit freezing room. View from the room was lovely and the grounds of the hotel quite nice. Lemon tree, pretty cactus and a clear view of the sea and mountains. All in all a rather mixed bag.
