Excellent secluded hotel on private island.

The hosts, Ben and Lisa, were extremely helpful and their resort is a wonderful place to spend a restful holiday. The choice of activities on the island is good and you can venture further afield for whale watching/.swimming, diving etc. Food was great and all in all, an excellent short break for us.

A Very Special Place. Paradise!

Mandala Resort was everything my husband and I were looking for and more. This is a very high end spa resort without the high end price. The gourmet meals were beautifully prepared and presented from fresh, healthy ingredients. Lisa's homemade breads and breakfast smoothies were a treat every day. The treehouse room was wonderful! So beautiful and comfortable. The proprietors, Ben and Lisa, are excellent hosts and the mindful design of the resort reflects their love and respect for the environment and the natural beauty of the island. They took care of every detail: transportation to and from the airport, boat taxis to town, arranging activities, making phone calls, and seeing to our every need or desire. One morning Lisa, a certified yoga instructor, led a fabulous yoga class on the beach, complete with music, incense and ocean breezes! Each dinner in the evening was inspired and creative. I must admit we were wondering if the bill at the end of our three days would be as high as we thought it could be, given the fabulous service, meals and drinks. To our delight, it was very reasonable and less than we anticipated. I am already looking forward to a return visit someday.
