"Lovely friendly hotel/pub, setting was glorious on a lovely day. Parking wasnt great but overnight only coat 7 pound . Employees friendly, nice traditional breakfast "

"Really nice well run hotel. All staff friendly and attentive. Fantastic evening meal and equally as tremendous breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom modern and clean with a nice hot shower. We were on a motorcycle, so were particularly pleased by the large flat tarmac secure car park at the rear with an entry barrier. They have a cosy bar area too, so you can have a drink before or after dinner, plus some outside courtyard seating if the weather is good. Good local beer on tap. Given the included excellent breakfast it feels like good value too."

"Wonderful location and very welcoming to both ourselves and our dog. Great grounds for the dog to explore, but would appreciate more off lead and off road paths to be available to guests."

"Have stayed here twice, first when it was still a pub and again recently after it became a cafe. Still an excellent place run by excellent people."
