The hotel was nice, and the location was excellent. It was a 10-minute walk from Grindelwald train station and just 5 minutes from the First Mountain tram."

"Alpenruh had a great staff, delicious dining, beautiful views, and comfy, clean rooms. It was very close to the cable car drop off on the east side of town, so that was convenient. The balcony was spacious, and the room was a decent size too. It was very quiet. Staff let us store our luggage onsite both on early arrival and late departure to and from Mürren. There is a lovely walk from Mürren down to Gimmelwald that takes about 30 minutes."

"It was our best experience. It’s very close to train station and Main Street. Though the hotel is on a hill and if you have luggage or elderly with walking issues then not a good idea ,for us that was not an issue. They do send car for pickup. But other than that everything else was awesome, beautiful room, great view from our balcony, kind helpful staff, decent breakfast. We would surely come again"
