"Excellent! Beautiful suites overlooking the countryside. We felt like we were in the serengeti! It is so peaceful! The wine is outstanding and we really enjoyed our meal with wine flight. The service from our chef was too notch!"

"Don't get me wrong, the hotel amenities are really nice and breakfast is okay, but both our rooms were right on top of the cafe and while the cafe was open (until around 12am) and as soon as the employees started coming in at around 5.30am there was no sleeping. I mentioned this at the reception and they didn't seem surprised or chocked about the fact that we didn't sleep well at all. Very disappointing."

"Only stayed for one night and hotel worked well for what we needed. The light from the AC/thermostat panel is quite bright and could be disturbing to some people. It defeats the purpose of black out blinds. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the hotel is well located. The parking is convenient and easy to access."

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright for what we needed it for. Nothing special. We didn’t realize just how in the middle of nowhere it would be. It’s quite remote and the country roads to get there are a bit tricky to navigate at night. We were exploring comporta for the two days that we were there but it’s about a 40 min drive so if you’re thinking of exploring comporta just keep that in mind. Also, there are no doors in the bathroom which we did not enjoy. Lastly, the room itself had some things that needed fixing. For example, the bottom of the door was completely falling off and the floor which is made up of some type of cork looked like it needed a refresh - it was stained on multiple areas. The breakfast included was also just ok - the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. We got to breakfast at 10 AM so I guess if you’re an early riser it might’ve been warm but they could also invest in better equipment to keep the food warm for the rest of us that are jet lagged and not up at the crack of dawn. Overall, it was just an ok experience. "
