"We had an amazing stay at the Samaria. The staff are extremely accommodating, kind and welcoming. They let us store our baggage upon early arrival and also let us check out later due to a late flight. We use the 15 Euro per day parking valet which we found very easy as well. It’s also on a short (about 8 min walk) to old town and the lighthouse waterfront of Chania. Also the breakfast included in our stay was delicious with lots of options. I would stay again! "

"Superb new hotel. Welcoming and impressive staff. Very good facilities. We had an ocean view room with jacuzzi which was was large, spacious and in very good condition. The balconies were lovely catching morning and evening sun. It’s a 2 min walk to the sea and small beach along with a range of excellent restaurants (Fourgatos we especially liked with the wonderfully Manos the owner). It’s a 10 min walk to the old town. The pool is lovely and good for sunbathing. The breakfast buffet extensive. My only minor issue is the pillows are all microfibre rather than feather or down so I found them very lumpy and the bedsheet didn’t seem to fit the bed so kept coming off in the night. Otherwise amazing. Highly recommended "

"My girlfriend and I stayed 2 weeks, and this resort is my favorite place in the world. The people that work here are so nice, food is amazing, you can get snacks/drinks anytime 24/7, the WiFi works well (I worked remotely here for 2 weeks). Beautiful views. Our bartenders Manolis and Christo and Maria and everyone would go far out of their way to do you favors. Amazing drinks. It’s the perfect amount of bougie-ness for the price. We stayed in a suite with a balcony overlooking the water and it was super cheap for what we paid. They sometimes have live music and Tomahawk steaks!!! Wow. I love it here. The little town to the west is super cute. "

"Lovely property with a private beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes in Reythmno town. Everything is superbly clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly - they did a great job organising a day trip for us. There are three pools (two outdoor and an indoor heated one). The only drawback is that the gym is tiny and can only accommodate three people at a time, so if you are a regular user, you'll need to book slots ahead of time. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel! "

"In general great place to stay with small children, great facilities, fun events for children. Swimming pools are anyone can desire, outside, inside non heated, inside heated. If one wants beach that is also available, sandy strip is just 500m away to the side if necessary. Staff is really polite and helpful, buffet all inclusive food is not boring and selection can satisfy most i am sure. Rooms are clean and on top of that they are cleaned every day, new towels, fresh floor. Absolutely recomended, this was our favourite when compare to similar price Mallorca or Sardinia resorts that we have visited before."
