"We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient. The distance from Scarborough is about 10 minutes drive right to the seafront. The reception staff are efficient and curteous. Lots of parking out front too. "

"We were allocated room G3 on the ground floor. Just opposite the rooms G1-G4 was the general toilets also just down the corridor was the staff access doors. The doors had no soft close and were continually banging, this continued until 3:05 am and resumed at 0700. We were then moved to a new room on the 4th floor, nice and quiet. Java coffee shop closed at 5:30 no where to get a coffee, only that in the room. Would be nice to have access to alternative drink to alcohol after 5:30."
