Step back in time farm house

This 1889 farm house has been newly remodeled and updated , Its located right across from the comfort inn and right off the exit of I-86. Its 10 mins from peek n peak ,20 mins to Erie Pa. Fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities you could ever need . The décor is very rustic and farm like living . We have utilized most of the antiques and given them new purposes. We would love to share this beautiful house and make it have a purpose again .
There is an upstairs apartment with a tenant with a separate entrance. . Everything on the first floor is yours and Private.

This was our fourth stay. We enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery and opportunity to recharge our batteries in an authentic, step back in time farmhouse. The home is super clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the extra blankets were super comfy as the evening wore on. After a few days of back-to-back travel, we put the laundry room to very good use and prepared meals in the spacious kitchen. The desk and broadband connection came in handy for a work meeting that I needed to take while vacationing. This home is a tremendous value for the price point. We hope to return again in the summer.

Enjoyed our stay!

My family and I stayed here for a few days while visiting family in the area. The location was great and we even enjoyed some sledding on the hill behind the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay

Comfy beds and pillows, lots of room, full kitchen, quiet and relaxing. Findley Lake is a nice little village, Alexanders is a great place to have a beer and some food.

Great stay in a historic farmhouse

The property was clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient for our purposes. The owner was most helpful and friendly. If you like antiques you'll enjoy the clever decorating done with things genuine to this 19th century home. Don't miss a short drive into the beautiful village of Findley Lake.

Love this place

This place was absolutely great. Convenient location. Lots of cool stuff and decor. Wish we could have stayed longer. Needs a better coffee maker. Will definitely return here if available next time we come.

Great little skiing gem

This place was perfect for two days of skiing at Peek and Peak resort. Less than a ten minute drive to the resort meant I could come back for lunch if needed. Comfortable house with everything you could need (except a tea pot! LOL). Plenty of room to walk the dogs and enough room for dog crates. Would recommend and will be back next ski season for sure!

Cozy farmhouse on the countryside

The farmhouse is conveniently located off I-86. The first floor of the farmhouse is the Vrbo, there is someone living above, but they were very quiet. The home is clean, decorated with antiques and has an adequately stocked kitchen. The beds are comfortable and there is a porch where you can sit outside (when doing so a resident cat may visit). We only stayed at the farmhouse one night, but would definitely stay there again if we were in the area!

A girlfriend and I were attending a workshop in the area and Step Back in Time Farmhouse was perfect for our needs. We brought our sewing machines to use in the evening and the kitchen peninsula and dining table made great sewing areas. The kitchen items were true sets, well stocked and well organized. The house was spotless. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Towels were complete sets and unstained. We highly recommended Step Back in Time Farmhouse to the other ladies attending the workshop.

Charming Farmhouse Down the Road from Findley Lake

What a delight this immaculate and charming farmhouse is! It was such a treat to step back in time with the decor and knick-knacks. Regardless of what Mother Nature has in store, this house will keep your entertained with a covered and nicely furnished outdoor porch, broadband internet, TV, videos and lots of board games. The backyard is spacious and has a dog lead that spans the length of the backyard for your Fido to run and explore. I found myself reliving my childhood...LOL! The kitchen is very spacious, perfect for entertaining. There is a nice work desk adjacent to the kitchen for those that may need to conduct business while the family plays. The mattresses on the beds are super comfortable. We appreciated the extra quilts and pillows. The bathroom and laundry rooms are too cute for words and the water heats up quickly. The home is conveniently located off the highway and just a few minutes' drive to the lake. We will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend visiting Erie. Was 20-30 min drive from Erie which worked out great for enjoy the color change of the surrounding woods. The host was phenomenal, we had to modify our booking the night before arrival and they were accommodating as possible which was very appreciated and quite stress relieving.
