"The property is located right along Lake Superior and each room has a balcony that overlooks the lake. The property is somewhat older, but the owners are doing a lot of repairs. Our check-in was smooth and quick, the staff was very friendly, and coffee/hot chocolate/hot cider were available all day in a very nice sitting area. Although you have to drive to anyplace to eat, the location was close enough to towns that it wasn't a big issue. We also love Tofte and Grand Marais, so both were easy visits."

"My husband and I stayed in order to do some biking along the Gitchi Gami state bike trail. The location was perfect! right across the street we were able to hop on the trail. Unit was very well equipped and clean. We enjoyed a nice camp fire he night. We never tried the Sauna but that looked nice too!"

"There's a beautiful common area with a pool table, bumper pool, a fireplace and lots of books and puzzles. Snacks for purchase in the lobby. Real old-fashioned cabin feel. Stayed in a motel room with lovely cabin interior, with deck looking out to the lake, kitchenette and comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. And at a very affordable price for the north shore."
