We were so impressed by the thoughtful touches at Aulton Stables, including fresh fruit, milk, bread, eggs and chocolates on arrival. "Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable. Great location in lovely surroundings. Nice walk to the loch straight from the door. Nice hot shower . Comfortable bed . The only way it would improve is a better sofa & chairs which were not the best to lounge about in but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking again ( just a slight niggle!). Overall a nice week."

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"
