"The hotel was very close to the train station and close to pubs and restaurants. Our room was lovely and clean and relatively quiet. The staff were helpful and polite. We had dinner in the bar and it was lovely. Would definitely stay here again"

"Travelling from Scotland it was so easy to leave the A1 and within a few minutes we were at the Hotel. Booked a room with two queen sized beds so loads of room. Very clean and 5 minutes walk to the Metro Centre. Hotel has a bar and grill. Food was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely go there again if I was visiting Newcastle. "

"Rooms were a bit old looking but spotlessly clean, restaurant for breakfast was nice and the breakfast is freshly cooked and one of the best I have had, cereal toast and coffee also available. Staff very friendly and pleasant. There is a bar and a large Chardonnay went down great after a 5 hour drive."
