"We pulled up to The Ann and we were greeted by Miss Ty in valet with a smile and she was also very helpful at the front desk during checking out. Checking in was a smooth process again greeted by a friendly smile. It is located within walking distance to the river front and most of the historic district. Zack the manager in valet was so friendly and helpful with information any time we asked about things around the city. We had a one-bedroom apartment, and the styling and decor was like being in a model home very clean. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and made for a wonderful night's sleep. The full-size kitchen was equipped with everything (except food, but a market is close by) you needed to make a meal and was nice as we stayed 4 nights and got a little tired of eating out all the time. The unit also had a washer and dryer in it which was a bonus and they even provided the detergent. As I will be visiting Savannah again in the near future The Ann will definitely be my go-to place to stay, the staff ever single person we met was wonderful, and layout is the great."

"The hotel was great! Staff was friendly! Location was a quick stroll to the action on River Street. The AC could have less noisy. There was no way to stream to the apps on the TV. The AC was really loud and the bed a little springy. The parking was $45 a night. I'd likely stay there again in hopes of a better bed and less noisy AC. 😁"

"The staff was so friendly and helpful - We wish we had stayed there the first night. Clean, and in a good locations - the Concierge was amazing and super helpful. The valet folks were also amazing and so was the front desk -- they were so responsive and friendly. We would definitely go back and stay there."

The location is great but the real gem is the staff, who were always there with a friendly greeting or to answer any questions we had."
Best Western Savannah Historic District

"We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast had lots of selections. It's near much of the area that people love - the Market. The room was good, the bed and pillows comfortable enough. The bathtub had a rail placement, and security that was a little sketchy. Although the bottom surface was roughted up - not slippery. The wifi for electronics other than a phone was problematic. My husband couldn't read his nook, as it wasn't able to download the next chapters. And I couldn't get onto the internet with my laptop. I had to call a service number, and spent 1-1/2 hours on the phone with them, doing this, doing that. In the end I said forget it, I'll try again in a day or 2. Two days later I tried again, calling the service number - this time it took about 15 minutes, and the agent got me on successfully. Before checking in here, we stayed in a Best Western off I95 in norhern South Carolina, and had to do the same process to get on the internet. The desk clerk said they maintain a firewall for laptops, unless they call. That time it took about 5 minutes to overcome that "fire wall." So I'm wondering - is this the policy now for all Best Westerns? I'm not sure, but on our travels I think I won't choose a Best Western going forward. Traveling is tedious, and tiring, so dealing with this adds to the frustration. I must have my laptop with me for business purposes, as I'm sure others do as well."
