Simple mountain lodge hotel room but with great staff and amazing outdoor amenities. My favorite part might have been the comfy rockers on the balcony that overlooks the mountains and nearby stream but there were lots of other outdoor areas for gathering to relax and enjoy the mountains. Very friendly staff that are super helpful and knowledgeable for exploring the area.
The room was clean . A little small but the bathroom modern and big. Having a restaurant to dine in the evening is a plus as there are not a lot of options around

Room was as advertised. Quiet and peaceful. All staff I encountered (not many, small place) were wonderful. Would recommend and would come back.
The location to the train depot was the selling point for our getaway. The room was spacious enough for four adults with a nice forest view balcony. There's no light so make sure you bring a small lamp to enjoy the balcony at night. The drive to Yosemite is about a 45 minute drive of beauty!!
Beautiful room with classic furniture and a lovely balcony. The inn is/had obviously been loved by someone who put a lot of effort into details. We were welcomed with coffee and other comforts. The room was comfortable. The gift shop was cute.
Only issue was the loud fan on the AC/heater, which woke me up a couple of times when it turned on through the night.
It felt peaceful and quiet. The staff gave us a room away for others for my husbands birthday. We will be returning to this rustic charming hotel! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us.
The location and proximity to the national park was great. The rustic feel and quant size added charm to the stay, which was way too short for use to really enjoy the setting.
This property is so cute and relaxing.
Simple room but very comfortable, we rode the sugar pine railroad while we were there, a must do!
Short drive to Yosemite and much more reasonable than staying in the park.
If you stay here, make plans to eat at their onsite restaurant, once you do you won’t want to eat anywhere else!

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
Pros: The location is great if going to the park. The rooms are cozy and clean. Restaurant/bar is open for dinner and was reasonably good.
Cons: No real breakfast options at the inn and not much in town. Front desk doesn’t open until 8 AM. No housekeeping service at all. No common areas to hang out or do things other than the pool; which is open in the summer months only. It really should be labeled as a motel.

Stayed overnight while visiting Yosemite. Very convenient to the south entrance at Mariposa Grove. Our room was lovely with cathedral ceiling and an attached private deck. On site shopping for conveniences. Restaurant had a limited menu but adequate. Beautiful old, carved wood, stone fireplaces gave a very cozy vibe. Grounds included an authentic older firetruck you could explore and learn more about. Overall a good experience.
Site was quaint and comfortable. My wife and I and had a fabulous meal at the ajoining restaurant. Proximity to Yosemite, around 20 minutes to the south gate, was a plus.
Absolutely delightful place! Stumbled on it while driving in Yosemite and needed a break from camping and this little gem came up and couldn’t be happier! Amazing staff and they have a great restaurant on sight. One stop place for relaxation! The bed is so comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. There’s a train ride just steps away that’s been on property for years! Super comfortable and easy!
