This is an older property with a few signs of age. However, the room is spacious, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. We slept well. I would stay there again.

It’s over 2 miles away from downtown. Not much to do around including restaurants. No breakfast which seems common around the area. It’s clean and quite around though.

The people working were overly friendly and welcoming. The property was well kept and felt safe. There were several activities available for my children include arcades at a reasonable cost. I loved how this was close to downtown Fish Creek but far enough away that it was quiet.

Nice place to relax with family and friends

Nice lodge/ resort with amenities to relax with family and friends including pool, deck, fire pit, and tennis courts. Good location near Pennisula State Park and Fish Creek, but too far to walk into town. Room was a bit musty, but they had a dehumidifier to help manage. Plenty of room in the one-bedroom suite.

While we didn't play, there is a pickleball court and we will the next time we stay there. There is also a tennis court and BB court. It was much quieter than expected being right on Rte 42 and windows open to an open field and forest.

The location was ideal and staff was proactive and cordial. However, the room was in desparate need of a dehumidifier! Room smelled musty/mildewy and everything (bedding/towels felt damp). The floors were very dirty (they vacumn, but apparently don't ever wash the wood floors, so my spouse who made the mistake of walking barefoot in the room stepped in shower the water around his feet was black, like he'd been walking in dirt!

The first thing you notice when you walk in the door of the room is a very strong musty, mildew smell. We opened all the doors and windows to try to air it out. The bathroom had mold on the walls, the silverware that was provided was dirty. Couldn't figure out how to use the thermostat because it hadn't been turned on for the season yet so we were very cold the first night. Thought about using the fire pit outback but when we went to go check it out the lighter didn't work and there was no kindling or fire starters. The best part about this specific room was that the bedroom was separate from the main living space to allow for more comfortable sleeping arrangements. But for $300 a night I expected a lot better.

Parkwood Lodge was a "good" place to stay. Very reasonable price, and convenient. The staff was excellent and accommodating. A few things out of order: the bathroom vanity and sink was 2 feet from the bed! This is actually in the bedroom area. Hard for two people to share.... 2) the toilet is jammed in a room with the shower, so watch your toes and knees walking in at night
