Unique Setting - Built on Quarry Bed

This property is know as our Carriage House.
We also have a one bedroom unit available, known as Quarry House Guest Bedroom. This guest bedroom is located across a 6 foot outdoor hall from the Carriage House. The combined units can accommodate 9 persons. See listing #1328037

We are located 1.5 miles from down town Fish Creek on Spring Road. We have a large area to park a boat or extra car.

We have been featured in Door County Living magazine and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. We have a unique quiet setting, yet near to all Door County has to offer.

The Carriage House is an 1100 square foot luxury accommodation in a second floor setting with it's own private entrance. The main house is owner occupied. The Carriage House (rental area) has a master bedroom suite with a beautiful wake up view of the woods. There is a great room with a queen murphy bed and two overstuffed comfortable chairs. We can set up a twin roll-a-way to sleep a 5th person. A second bedroom is available at an additional cost across the hall and sleeps 4 persons. It has a private entrance and private bath. Easy to relax! There is a full kitchen with an island to enjoy your home cooked meal. The oversized bathroom has a walk-in shower and jet bathtub.

We are also pet friendly. A dog must be totally housebroken and well taken care of. There is an extra charge for a dog, so be sure to state the number of persons and the number of pets.

We are actually built in a quarry. This is the 18th season of rental. We sincerely hope to make you stay with us memorable.

Beautiful property, great location!

The owners Mitch and Mary were great! The property was beautiful, and it was centrally located making it easy to get to egg harbor, fish creek, and Baileys harbor. We enjoyed the collection of VHS tapes, and even watched a movie one evening. Great property for a weekend away with your spouse!

Pennisula art school class and relaxing

This property and our suite are lovely with fully equipped kitchen. This was so much nicer than staying at a hotel while we did local sight seeing and activities. Dog friendly property and walking areas. Limited cable and wireless was not a problem for us because we were so active in the area hiking, music, food, fishing and art classes. Great stay.

Amazing host

Both Mitch and Mary are incredible hosts. The house was kept extremely clean and kitchen had plenty of things for my fiance and I to cook on the day we got rained in. Overall a wonderful experience, couldn't have asked for more.

Great hosts and interesting property. Missed the part about it being an owner occupied property, it is specified but hidden in the extended details. There was also a sauna listed, was that the jet tub thing? We rented an entire home for about the same price in the Smokies. While we enjoyed our stay, do feel it was over priced for what it was. No regrets, thanks for the stay!

Quick, but very enjoyable stay!

We were in Door County for a family wedding and ended up booking both the carriage house and this property with some other family members. What a perfect and lovely set-up for us! Mitch and Mary were so welcoming and treated us like family. The day we arrived they gave us a tour of their gorgeous and unique living quarters after showing us to our rented unit. The grounds are beautiful, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to explore it entirely. The location is fairly close to Fish Creek, but far enough out of town to have that country feel. Would definitely stay there again!

Most unique place to stay!

The property/home owners Mitch and Mary are such wonderful hosts. They made our experience in Door County that much better by their hospitality. I never would have expected to have them open their home to us, especially with our dogs accompanying us. Little did we know that they are dog lovers and let our boys have run of their house. We cannot thank them enough for the evening spent in their beautiful home and learning more about the property over a wonderful bottle (or two) of wine!

Excellent Stay!

This was our first time in Door County and staying at the Quarry House. It was a great beginning to our trip, and Mary was there to greet us upon arrival. Riley greeted our Golden Retriever Cubby so playfully! The property was perfect for our party of four. Mary answered our questions about the area and the best places to eat, shop and stroll. Everything on the property exceeded our expectations, including the tour and stories behind the history of the home and property! We missed meeting Mitch as he was out of town that weekend, but we had such a great stay we will be back! Highly recommended vacation rental! Thank you for your hospitality, Mary!

Door County weekend

We had a great time at the Quarry House. Mitch and Mary were great hosts and very welcoming. Upon arriving Mitch gave us a quick tour of our accommodations and let us know that we were welcome around the property. We enjoyed our time there around the patio with wine and visiting with Mitch and Mary. My kids loved visiting with them too. Mitch set up a bonfire for us one evening and let us use their grill. They were also gracious enough to give us a tour of their extraordinary home. The property is about 1-1.5 miles from Fish Creek so it feels very private and there’s lots of wildlife to observe. We look forward to revisiting Door County and hope to stay at the Quarry House again.

Honeymoon getaway

Our hosts were personable and helpful. The quarry has great history and design while being close to all the attractions but yet being secluded. We had a great time during our stay, and Mitch and Mary are very sweet.

Great place to stay

My wife and I spent the July 4th weekend here and it was the best. Our hosts were extremely nice and the place was spotless. Mitch and Mary are such nice people and they really made us feel like they cared about us having a pleasant visit to Door County.We'll definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Door County.

Mitch and Mary are terrific hosts, and very welcoming. Door County is always a great getaway, but they made our stay even better. Amazing stay!

My high school friends and I did our first vacation together after our freshman year of college to reconnect and catch up. We had an AMAZING experience! Mitch and Mary were beyond welcoming. They were excited to show us around the rental and opened their beautiful property up to us. The history of the property is so fascinating and we highly recommend asking Mitch for a tour of his art gallery! The location was perfect! We were 15-20 minutes from all the best spots in Door County. HIGHLY recommend booking this rental! I know I will be again:)
