I wish we could find some way to make it be our home base for the rest of our travels in Scotland. "We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"Really enjoyed the Ravenswood. Stuart (“the guy” who makes it all work) was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful and a great host. His place is situated perfectly near the bigger historical attractions and a very short cab ride from city center. We’ve been to our share of B&Bs, and his guest house was quite nice. "

"My favorite B&B I stayed in while on holiday in Scotland. Our room, the Ben A'an room, was en suite and both the bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was so good and my son and I had a lovely conversation with the proprietor, Callum. He was very helpful and worked with us to ensure we had a breakfast available for an early departure. I will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend staying."

On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby.
