West Glacier Cabin Village
8/10 Good
"It would be helpful if the property published a telephone number to contact after 5 pm We almost did not get to check in since our rental car took over 4 hours to get from the Kalispell airport. And I could not get through to call anyone after 5 pm"
Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!
10/10 Excellent
"An amazing house that made you feel like home. Its location is close to many great locations on the East side to explore. Larry and Linda were there if needed and it was great to share stories with them. Would totally recommend this place for traveling and hope to return in the future to stay longer to make a trip into Canada. Until next time! Julie and Phil (Illinois)"

New to vacation rental lovely 3-bedroom 2 bath on Duck Lake near Glacier Park
8/10 Good
"The kitchen was well equiped which was nice since we cooked most nights. (There aren't many restaurants.) The only faucet that had filtered (drinkable) water was the kitchen and it was fine. There is no dishwasher. Be sure to buy most of your groceries on the west side of GNP - things are 2-3X more expensive at the markets in St. Mary & Babb. The furniture in the living room was comfortable but the beds were firmer than we like. The master bedroom had about a 10" step down into it. The room with twin beds doesn't have any outlets. Baseboard heaters allowed for individual rooms to be as warm or cool as the occupants wanted. There was plenty of hot water for the 6 of us to take showers and do laundry. The W/D are very small but fine for keeping up with dirty clothes. We enjoyed having the lake and mountains to look at out the wall of windows in the back. We even got to see a cute black bear cub walk through the back yard one morning! There was also a pet Bison in a fenced yard down the road! The cleaning crew could have done a little better job with the dusting in some areas but most were ok. We had to launder wash clothes everyday b/c we only had 1pp but when asked, more were provided. The house is fairly close to the St. Mary entrance of GNP and only an hour from the Waterton Lakes NP in Alberta, Canada. Both parks are exceptional! We liked being on the east side because most of what we wanted to do in GNP was there.Heidi communicated well."

Walsh Cottage inside Glacier National Park on Lake McDonald
10/10 Excellent
"Cute, cozy, comfortable, rustic cabin- perfect as a home base during our visit to Glacier! Very close to the West Glacier trails- McDonald falls, John’s Lake, and Avalanche. Loved that it was right off Going to the Sun Road. Our favorite part was that it was directly on Lake McDonald and we enjoyed the private beach every evening! The host was great and check in/out was seamless. Would definitely recommend!"
Many Glacier Hotel - Inside the Park

"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
