"Great place to stay but getting there is quite difficult. We were told in advance and so we were aware. Best not to have much luggage as it is 240 down to get to the place. Of course 480 steps every time you leave/return. Would have been nice to have coffee in the apartment. We could not figure out the heating system as it is a pellet type furnace. Great view and total privacy."

"We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"Hôtes tres agréables, serviables, sympathiques et reactifs. Maison tres bien située au calme mais avec toutes les commodités à proximités. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était sur place. La vue de la maison est magnifique et la piscine très agréable. La maison est très grande, bien entretenue et très bien équipée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous remercions nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et les conseils sur les activités et lieux a visiter. Nous recommandons cette belle location....

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

House is old, over 250 years old, fully renovated, with everything you need to spend time with your family. The view from was amazing. Anything we didn’t like? "We loved our experience at La Palazzo. We have had many vacation rentals over the years and this stood out as one of best. The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Marco and the other property managers were helpful and gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants, shops and sites to visit. The grounds and house were beautifully tended and the pool was perfect. "We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable house that easily accommodated the six of us. Paulo (the owner) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The local town is a short ten minute walk through the woods where there are options for eating, drinking and shopping. We had an electric car (EV) and were pleased to find charging options within walking distance. Thanks to Paulo and family for facilitating such a lovely two week stay."
