"Superb location. Spectacular scenery. And so quiet. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and homely. Siggi is a great host. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was excellent: wide choice and tasty. I can thoroughly recommend Skard B&B. Go there. You won't be disappointed."

"The room was very clean. It was very hard to get into with the key. He struggled for quite some time. There were no local restaurants except for their restaurant, which supposedly opened only two days ago and had a very limited menu. The women in the restaurant did a great job trying to make a cocktail and the pizza was delicious."

"There was no staff onsite but they send a code to the entrance door and your room door ahead of time. No issues with getting in without staff onsite. Room was clean and perfect for a solo traveler. Enjoyed beers across the street at the neighborhood bar."

"we were fortunate to stay two nights here. Super friendly staff and we loved spending time with the resident dog and arctic fox. So quiet and the little cabins are the cutest. We were able to do laundry and just relax after a few busy days. Can't say enough about this cute place"

"Superb service. They went out of their way to help us out on couple of occasions. All other stays on our trip, no one else had a TV, this one had a TV, fridge, microwave in the room. Jonas, the manager walked around the breakfast area and was engaging with all the patrons. The room it self does need a makeover and the management knows that as Jonas himself confided they will be remodeling next year."

"The hotel was easy to get to and clean, there was always staff available. The lights didn’t work well in our room, the switches wouldn’t work sometimes or if they did they would shut off all the lights or one of them but it always seemed like a different light. Bathroom was nice, desk was great and so was breakfast. Would stay here again if I was planning more sightseeing in the area"

"I loved staying at Taergesen Guesthouse. It was a beautiful view. Clean and quiet. Honestly, it was one of my favorite places in all of Iceland. Really felt so authentic and sweet."
