"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way! "
