"This place was great. There's multiple food options you can easily walk too. The pool was great. The room was nice and cozy. The staff was really friendly. The morning breakfast was great. My only complaint would be the shower didn't drain fast and the toilet was a little low. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future because it was an amazing value for what you get."

"The sleep was pretty good and the room spacious and fairly comfortable. A bit quirky and interesting decor and style... seems rather retro late 60's or early 70's. I was a bit disappointed with the condition of the property. For a place that is close to new, there was damage visible from heavy use. Basically wear and tear and repairs leaving some holes in the walls where pictures and perhaps the TV was moved. The breakfast was also less than one would expect. While the eggs were hot and the biscuits fluffy, there wasn't a meat option. I was surprised that there wasn't yogurt as a choice. The waffles were actually pretty good. A plus was the mini fridge had a spacious freezer section that allowed for actually refreezing a couple blue ice units. "

"A great value! This hotel was recently remodeled. Big fluffy towels, fresh new bedding, comfortable mattress, pretty good pillows. Super nice person manning the front desk. I would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay was great! The room was clean. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was great! The bathroom was clean and well appointed with amenities. There wasn’t plenty of clean white towels. We arrived at 1:00am and lady on duty was friendly and helpful."

"The Dutch John Adventure Outpost was truly exceptional. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every room felt carefully planned, with so much attention given to both the details and the needs of the guests.What impressed us most was how remarkably well stocked the cabin was. With most vacation rentals, you learn not to count on finding even the basics, but this home had absolutely everything we could have wanted. We arrived to freshly baked bread and homemade jam, which was such a lovely and welcoming touch. The kitchen had oils, salt, spices, and even a full assortment of baking supplies, allowing me to make desserts during our trip. They had also provided practical necessities such as laundry detergent and countless other items that made our stay effortless and comfortable.The host checked in with us regularly through the app to make sure we had everything we needed, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The care and hospitality behind this property were evident in every detail.Without a doubt, this was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was the perfect home base for our family’s fly-fishing adventure, and we will absolutely return the next time we visit Dutch John."
