"Worked for our quick half stop trip down south for 8 howeverthe place was not clean and one of the rooms had mold and stains on the ceiling. Unusable and disgusting room. Dust was still all over the dressers and fridge was something I wouldn't put any food. Found a cleaning rag in the bed and the floor in the master bedroom was warping with water damage. There was also a musty smell in the entire place. In the end you get what you pay for."

"Cute, cozy cabin in the woods. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of room inside. Very peaceful. Lots of beautiful land and wildlife to see on your drive to this property. Everything looked brand new-the cabin, appliances, tvs. We were in town for a baseball tournament, so we didn't spend much time enjoying the surrounding property, as we were mostly at the field. "The Cedar House was perfect for a large crowd. We used this for a retreat team meeting The kitchen was well equipped. Not great for single people. Not good for marriage retreats. little to no cell service and no wifi We will definitely be back."

"We loved this cottage! It was spacious and clean. The host was great with communication. The hot tub was super clean and we loved getting to use that. There is a Keurig which wasn't in the pictures so you can bring k cups and the kitchen is so well stocked with anything you may need to cook. They have coffee filters and coffee for the regular pot too! There were deer in the front yard at one point and it's just such a peaceful spot. We would come back here in a heartbeat."

"This cozy little cabin by the lake was very easy to find, very well maintained and the host was very communicative and pleasant. There was a well stocked kitchen, ample towels and linens and a water dispenser for drinking water. The AC worked very well and kept the cabin cool in the heat. The area is remote, so there is limited internet and cell service, but sufficient to make calls and sometimes send texts. (But isn’t that the point of getting away anyway?) A caution that the driveway is rather steep and has a U turn at the top. There are several spots for parking a boat, but if you have a big truck and long boat it’s a bit of a tight squeeze. If you are fishing there are tons of opportunities - the Stonewall Jackson Lake launch is only a couple of miles away, and there are three more large lakes close by: Burnsville, Sutton and Summersville. All of them produced - bass (smallmouth and largemouth), bluegill, a few perch and crappie. We were focused on bass, but understand there are also walleye, musky and catfish!"
