Everything was beautiful and cozy. The only thing was we brought all our food and coffee but they didn't have a coffee pot, only a kuerig. Well it has one now! 😊 we would love to come back to this property and it will go in our favorites.

we enjoyed our stay - would stay here again - bring comfy outdoor chairs for porch the chairs on porch are beautiful handmade bentwood but super uncomfortable - also be sure to take all basic cooking spices oil etc (even salt pepper sugar etc) and toilet paper (1 roll provided) - the cabin is really close to a river with parking area but the climb back up to cabin not doable for me just for the extreme steepness not distance - this cabin is in a neighborhood- a cute one and no one was too close for privacy - it would be appropriate for parents and 1-2 children but too small for 2 couples Imo

Cute rustic cabin, but it smelled and needed cleaning. The kitchen is right beside the bathroom, which personally grossed me out. There is really no yard and the house is right beside the road. We did enjoy the hot tub, and the nearby lake.

What a fabulous experience! This precious little cabin was the perfect place to relax with pups! While the kitchen is small, we were able to fix meals with ease. Since our daughter attended Appalachian State, we have done plenty of sight seeing in the area. We spent most of our time in front of that wonderful fireplace. Because of the rustic construction of the stairs and the only bathroom being downstairs, we chose to sleep on the pullout sofa. We found plenty of linens etc in the upstairs closet to make this quite comfortable. The only issue we had was with the hot tub and this was taken care of in a more than timely manner. The technician even came back the next day to check on things! We would definitely consider staying here again.

Small and rustic as advertised. Hot tub was great! Love that it was dog friendly! Location was great, we enjoyed hiking to the waterfalls. Neighbors were super nice. There were fresh flowers on the table when we arrived, very nice touch! Only thing that was difficult for us was the amount of fragile nicknacks/decor. It made the cabin seem very authentic, however, we had kids and a dog with a big happy tail and we don't pack light - musical instruments, etc. so it was a little bit of stress worrying that something was going to be broken (we actually did knock over something that broke- we reported it and everything was taken care of so that was good). Would definitely stay there again!

Despite me getting the flu during our trip - the overall rating of the cabin is WONDERFUL! It is small but cozy! It is comfortable and perfect for a small family - we had three in our group. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs so be careful when coming down the stairs at night. The bed was very comfy but the bedframe squeaked SO much ….. it was kinda humorous whenever anyone turned over. The hot tub was great! Getting to and from West Jefferson and Boone was SO EASY!!! It really is a great little cabin. The roads are not bad at all and very well maintained. I own a Kia Sportage and my car did great! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away :-)

We needed a getaway to celebrate 30 year anniversary. We did not expect to be so close to neighbors, see their home or smell the "smoking man." I didn't expect to clean spider webs from the entry or the kitchen. I didn't expect to wash & rinse glassware, dishes or pans. I didn't expect that my German Shepard would not have much property to "squat." I hoped we would have been able to look out the window and see more of the Blue Ridge Mtns. But, we couldn't. On a lighter note: the hot tube was clean & therapeutic.

Check in instructions not accurate. Wi-Fi password in instructions were not accurate and the realtor was not helpful at all. I paid for Wi-Fi because I work from home often on weekends. My husband stumbled on a piece of paper laying on a small table that was the actual password but that wasn't the password in the instructions. I wish there had been a way to convey the uneven steps and broken pavers to get from your car to the front door. My husband is 73 and I'm 65 and even though I don't consider the two of us as feeble it was a challenge for an older person. I actually fell carrying my luggage from the car to the cabin. The pots and pans were in such bad shape. A new set of pots and pans aren't that expensive.

The cabin is quite cozy and is as described in listing. Upstairs mattress could be updated due to a sloping effect. Also the silverware is not a full set to serve 4. Overall stay was amazing. Hot tub wasn’t working upon arrival but was fixed in a timely matter and was extremely hot. Was also given late checkout which was greatly appreciated.

The cabin was amazing!!! We really loved the location of the cabin, the neighborhood the cabin is in, and exploring the Fleetwood area. My husband and I will absolutely consider staying at this particular cabin again along with our 2 dogs. We loved all the old wood and the stone and privacy this cabin offered. Inside the cabin was very nice and homey and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace while we relaxed and played games and watched movies. The only complaint I would say was the kitchen items, specifically the silverware, cooking utensils and cookware were not clean. I did prewash everything before I used them. But as mentioned, this was our only complaint.

We brought our 3 year old dane/dalmation mix with us and it was a beautiful setting to have a great weekend away. The house was immaculate. It says rustic in the listing, but I promise you, there is nothing rustic about it inside! Its perfect! We really enjoyed ourselves! /
