"The room was clean and adequate. The checkin clerk was helpful. The property could use some work. Breakfast was fair. Everything was good just not great, hence 4 stars."

"The bed comfort was on par with 5 star hotels. The room has most everything you need, mini fridge, usb outlets in abundance, free 24 hour coffee and water machine in lobby. Excellent breakfast with amazing waffles. April ( I think that’s her name, she was training someone) was a super breakfast attendant. Really high ceilings which was a surprise so nice large room. Only negative is there is no sound proofing. I could hear the neighbors TV, people upstairs walking around, hallway noise. Luckily it was a quiet weekday but I would have been very unhappy if I stayed there when the place was full or having an event. I sleep like a log and the noise woke me up. My husband had a hard time sleeping, he’s more sensitive to sound. So maybe pack some ear plugs and be ready for a great breakfast and lots of coffee. ;)"

"This property was absolutely beautiful and so cozy! The house was very clean and we were welcomed with a chocolate bar on the nightstand. There is an abundance of useful items such as the kitchen utensils, grill utensils, towels, umbrella, etc. The hot tub was a plus and is secluded in the backyard. The house is only a 5 minute walk from Walloon Lake and a 13 minute drive from downtown petoskey."

"This was a wonderful, peaceful experience for me and my dogs.The fact that it is pet friendly was the best part. It’s a great price. It’s unlikely that you’re going to find property on a lake this cheap anywhere else. The owners were great and truly care about your experience. If anything isn’t up to par, they will make sure to fix that immediately.The trails on the property are lovely. Would definitely stay again."
