"We had a wonderful stay in this unique hotel. We were surprised and thrilled to have the experience of a stay in an exquisite historical building with authentic classical furniture. There was also a collection of classical paintings and the furniture felt like we were living in a royal palace. "A lovely place to stay. We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. The hosts are every attentive, and although we can't speak french very well and their english was limited Google translate saved the day, especially at meal time when we sat with Celine and her family"

"We were sidetracked and did not arrive until midnight on the day of check in. Celine had emailed me and when when I did not respond, she called to check on our well being and what time we would arrive. I felt bad that she was of course still awake at midnight to welcome us and unaware that she had other guests leaving at 5am so she had to be up super early to prepare those guests breakfast. Again super nice and accommodating people. Thank you so much"

"Sejour agréable en general Petite fausse note : piscine froide , mise en route a notre arrivée , des remonter d'égout dans la chambre avec terrasse , le prix du repas d’hote excessif . Bon point : petit dejeuner de qualité , produits de region , et tres gourmand ! Le cadre tres reposant ! Des petites choses a dire mais globalement c’est une tres bonne maison d’hote !!"

"Single beds in large room were very firm and one creaked with every movement, We had no idea that building was either a gite or a B & B. When the latterthe kitchen/living area is shared with others. We left all our electronic and other things in this area while out the evening we arrived and were surprised to be joined by another guest in the morning! Host was helpful and courteous but as we speak very little French it was hard to chat.Property is beautifully presented and fitted out overall."
