ARTWORK APARTMENT IN FLORENCE CITY CENTER

Luxurious apartment in the center of Florence, just 5 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station and 10 minutes from the Duomo. 500m from the Opera of Florence, 700m from the Fortezza Da Basso and 750m from the Palazzo Dei Congressi. Elegant apartment fully furnished in neoclassical style, it will be the perfect starting point to visit Florence and offer you an unforgettable experience.
The area can be reached by car, as it is not in a limited traffic area (ZTL). There are several shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Located on the first floor of a building with elegant entrance, the apartment consists of a large living room, separate kitchen, bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath, a spacious bedroom with a habitable balcony with a pleasant view.
The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished with fine finishes, parquet and marble floors, the ceilings are enhanced by cornices and rosettes and in the living room the typical Florentine coffered wooden ceiling. All finishes and details of the apartment have been carefully chosen. The kitchen is equipped with various appliances: microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Air conditioning and free WIFI, also a washer dryer is available to guests.
The apartment can accommodate 4 people (2 on the sofa bed in the living room) but more suitable for a couple as it has a single bedroom.

Our Italy Vacation

This is a beautiful unit. The location to trains, tram and buses was perfect. Literally minutes away. The apartment was very comfortable. Loved every minute.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Our hosts were kind enough to allow us to check in early. We arrived on the train so the apartment location was very convenient. We walked to all the major attractions and restaurants.

Charming and quiet apartment

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment with beautiful period details, excellent air conditioning, and all of the amenities you need for a week-long stay. The location was central and easy to navigate, and the hosts very welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful Apartment

Amazing Place to Stay!!

We had a great time at this apartment as it was in an excellent area of Florence for walking to all the main attractions.. loved the size and cleanliness and the a/c worked amazingly for the hot Florence days. The balcony is a great option as we enjoy mornings and evenings relaxing there. Highly recommended to all family and friends

Nice place with wonderful hosts!

We had a great stay with wonderful hosts! The place is beautiful and clean. Communication from the hosts was excellent. If you are looking for a place by the train station, this is the one! We were able to walk to all of the sites and take day trips with no problem.

Great Location in Florence

Great host and excellent apartment. Close to the train station and walking distance to all the main sites in Florence. Host met us on arrival. Gave a great introduction to the apartment. Communication before arrival nd after departure through WhatsApp made the check-in and out process seamless. Highly recommended!

“An absolute Gem in Florence”

Beautiful Property

Eloisa & Emmanuel and very nice and accomodating hosts. They were very helpful with check in and throughout our stay. The apartment is as pictured, very clean and has everything you need. There is a bit of a walk through the train station area to get to main attractions but it's nice being in a quiet area. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous apartment!!

The apartment was beautiful and very clean! An absolute gem. The owners thought of everything including slippers. Location was perfect for train travel and we could walk to all the sightseeing. We did take a taxi to the sunset at Michelangelo grave but could have walked if need be. Our stay was perfect 👌🏻

The apartment is very central which was very helpful since we took a lot of day trips via train from Florence. The host welcomed us in person and showed us all rooms of the apartment, gave a map and recommendations for the area. Very good communication. The balcony was nice to have breakfast. In the heart of Firenze

Gorgeous apartment very close to the SMN train station and the center of Firenze. High point - the beautiful balcony overlooking gardens and trees - right in the center of the city! Low point - you hear a fair amount of street traffic as you would expect being right in the center of the city.

Simply the best!

You may think that the pictures might be misleading, the truth is the apartment is even nicer than in the pictures! The rooms are spacious and clean, the ceilings are lovely and high, air con saved us in very hot August temperatures, the terrace is perfect for early morning coffee or a glass of wine/ aperitivo to bring in the evening. The hosts were always on hand to give handy tips around florence, and you are minutes walk from all the major attractions. Simply, one of the best accomodation we have stayed in on our travels. You'll love it!

Stunning apartment in Florence

An absolutely beautiful apartment in Florence. Near the trsin station in what looks to be a busy working street but when you enter thru the gates and into the apartment you will not be disappointed!. The most luxurious apartment we had on our 3 week trip in Italy. The owners are wonderful communicators and helped us find the place whe we didnt follow their clear directions! Can't recommend enough.

Beautiful Apartment

This apartment was one of the nicest VRBOs we’d ever stayed in that was made better by the exceptional care from Emmanuel. He met us at the property, proudly showed us around and gave us suggestions on things to do. We had a minor issue with hot water and he was there in minutes to solve the problem. Located a few minutes walk from the train station and a slightly longer walk to the main attractions you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Gorgeous apartment in a gorgeous city!

Perfect stay in Beautiful Florence

How often does the owner meet you half way to the train station to make sure your visit begins without a hitch. While the train station is only a 5 minute walk to the apartment, Eloisa met us to make sure we could find the property. And talk about a spacious apartment. Nice size rooms (kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom) and a balcony to enjoy breakfast and an evening drink. Every time we asked a question, Emmanuel or Eloisa answered us promptly. Without a doubt, we would stay at Porta al Prato should our travels take us back to Florence.

Elegant home stay

This property took my breath away from the moment I walked in the door. Very large spacious rooms and bathroom; complete with a large bathtub/jacuzzi (nearly impossible to find in Europe). Lovely selection of bath gels and salts to help ease tired legs and feet at the end of a busy day. There is a darling veranda just off the bedroom; perfect for early morning tea or coffee. Kitchen stocked with a variety of teas/coffee supplies. Owners very kind and flexible; offered lots of local information. Perfectly located close to the main train station; approixmately a 10 min walk. Highly recommended. Thank you for the perfect Florence home!

Elegant apartment with attentive hosts

This is a beautiful apartment, very Italian with elegant furnishings. The host met us outside the unit and explained everything. It was quite warm in Florence this week, so he requested that a/c be turned on early for us. Normal regulations delay a/c until later. There were lots of thoughtful extras, like coffee pods and cookies. The balcony with white wrought iron table and chairs was a perfect place to wake up or relax. We didn't cook much, but there seemed to be adequate cookware and microwave. The washer was very helpful since we were traveling for 17 days. The location near the train station was very handy. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

Magnificent Florence Apartment

An absolute gem! We were incredibly lucky to stumble across such beautiful accommodation. My partner (a professional musician) and I retired military, we have been fortunate to travel often. This apartment and the owners Emmanuel and Eloisa have out done themselves. If you are looking for a place to stay in Florence you have found it. You will be steps away from the train station where you can plan a day trip to anywhere. You can explore Florence on foot. Get off the beaten path and have beautiful dinners at any of the amazing local restaurants. We stayed for 9 days and honestly we could've stayed for a month. Emmanuel was very attentive to all our needs and so very helpful. Without a doubt, this is the cleanest and most well decorated VRBO we have ever stayed in. We will definitely book here again.

5 Star Apartment - Excellent Location - Wonderful Hosts

If you come to Florence this is the place to stay! The apartment is amazing - absolutely gorgeous decor with original ceilings and doors (museum quality). We felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort! Bathroom has original marble floors and a whirlpool tub and shower. Spa slippers and bath amenities are provided (shampoo, soap and salts for the whirlpool tub), as well as a hair dryer. Kitchen has every appliance you need if you want to cook and there is even a washer/dryer combo machine. You also have your own patio, where we ate breakfast several mornings and enjoyed some wine in the evenings before dinner. The location is perfect! We were able to walk everywhere we went - almost everything (sites, museums, restaurants) are within 20 minutes, and only 5 minute walk to the train station. The hosts, Eloisa & Emmanuel, are just the nicest couple you will meet. We had delays in arriving and got in much later at night than we were supposed to (around 10pm). They came and met us at the train station, walked us to the apartment, and gave us a tour of the place and instructions on how everything worked. They also have listings of restaurants that they recommend and that are highly recommended on Trip Advisor. We went to several of them and never had a disappointing meal. You can tell that they truly enjoy having guests come and stay and they want their guests to have a memorable experience. We absolutely loved our stay in Florence and the city itself. We hope to come back sometime and we will definitely stay here again!
