At the Heart of Florence with Private Garden and Parking

This charming and unique apartment sets on the ground floor of a historic building right at Florence's Historic Center. It is strategically situated just 5 minutes walk from Piazza Santa Croce, and 15 minutes walk from Piazza Signoria and The Ufizzi.

This accommodation has been restored (last renovation on november 2016) and converted into an adorable apartment, very well furnished and with modern facilities. The highlight is its private, sunny garden with dining table for 'al fresco' meals. Private parking is also available.

There is a cosy living room , dining room at a veranda facing the garden, well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a delicious Tuscan meal, a master double room with fresco ceiling with in suite bathroom, a double bedroom with 2 single beds, a studio with 2 single beds plus one bathroom with shower. All bathrooms are made with Carrara marble.

The market of Santo Ambrogio , the most characteristic food market in Florence is only at 5 minutes walk. It is a nice way to wake up in the morning, have a lazy breakfast with a true cappuccino or espresso and take a tour around fresh and exquisite season vegetables and fruits or local cheese just smelling the flower's newest aromas.

All around, there are many restaurants and bars where local Fiorentini go for a quick coffee, lunch and dinner meals, with a vast selection of places running from wine bars, wooden oven pizzerias, local trattorie and famous restaurants.

From there, you can also rent bikes to visit Florence everywhere you want to go!

The famous FLEA MARKET of Florence is located in Piazza dei Ciompi at only 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It opens every day from 9 to 19.30. If you're lucky enough to go there on the last Sunday of every month, the stalls extend into the surrounding streets. Here you can find furniture and objects from the past, prints, coins and jewellery. It's worth a trip if only to get insights on Italy's past through the artifacts displayed in these cluttered stalls.

This place is a small walk to most sites. Uber is available to longer trips but overall walkable. There is a little restaurant bar with nightly happenings where we sat and make friends with the staff at night . Beautiful apartment clean and spacious

What an amazing property. Christina was so accommodating. Located close to a market, bakery and cafe, this was the perfect location. The air conditioning, showers and TV worked. The patio was lovely in the evenings and it was very comfortable.

Great private apartment & location!

Great private apartment and location.The bedrooms were great and the air conditioning worked great. We did have a few mosquitoes and some spider webs in the sunroom, but they did install bug plug-ins, which seemed to help. The backyard could use some grooming, as the trees and bushes were hanging over the table and chairs. We did use the washing machine, since we had already been in Italy for 5 days. This was a nice feature for halfway point of our trip. Check-in was wonderful and I would recommend it to others in the future.

A treasure in Florence

Lovely apartment with great amenities

We arrived to the apartment and were met by the host, Christina, she took loads of time explaining how to work the lights, the ac units, the washer and everything else about the property. She had a book with a map for us to use and some suggestions of markets and restaurants nearby. When we contacted her during the stay with a question, she responded very quickly. The bonus of having a clothes washer after a couple weeks of travel is not to be understated. She has a full size fridge and dishwasher and enough plates, glasses and cookware to satisfy our needs. There are three bedrooms and two baths so we two each had our own space. The garden patio was a lovely spot to have a coffee in the am or a glass of wine and snacks in the afternoon. I was in the front bedroom and the street noise was a bit loud, but that is largely unavoidable in Florence. Overall, a lovely, accessible apartment in a fabulous city.

First off, the hostess was so accommodating and nice with us. We are a family of 5 and although the extreme heat in Florence we were cool in the apartment. A very nice and elegant place to stay. If you stay on the main road, you’re about 10 minutes by foot from central Florence. I would rent again. Thank you for being so hospitable.

The location is within a 15 to 20 minute walk of most attractions. It had a good size master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Although the bathroom was dated and required some getting used to. The kitchen was small but functional. It had a stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The other bedrooms were also adequate and the second bathroom had a walk-in shower which was great for older tourists. The dining room was glass enclosed and lead to a garden picnic table area. The washer was in the cellar and we did not use it. Christina met us at the apartment and went over all the eccentricities of the place. The use of certain keys for the doors and ways to lock up and open the doors and lights. The air conditioner in the master was not working very well but the rest of the air conditioners worked fine. We used taxis for in and out access without a problem. It’s close to restaurants and farmers market and grocery stores.

Fantastic property

Christina met us upon arrival and explained everything completely. The property was as described and wonderful for a family of 5 guests. Location was great and easy to find and we walked everywhere, except to the Airport. She left a booklet with lots of helpful info on things to do and where to eat, etc.I have stayed in Florence a dozen times always in Hotels and this was a real treat. We had a great stay! Christina is a terrific hostess who met us at the property and was responsive throughout our visit, including a recommendation for a wine tour in Tuscany. An easy walk to nearby groceries and an open air market plus a well equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. and the apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to many Florence attractions. Le logement quoique un peu vieillot était adapté pour nous. Cependant quelques soucis avec Internet qui ne passe que près de la box, sinon pas du tout dans les chambres !Pas de papier toilette et au niveau électricité c'est un peu folklo! (la lampe sur la table est très très basse et empêche de voir les personnes en face !)Par contre super bien situé, tout peut se faire à pied et une place de parking un peu étroite (quand on a un minibus comme nous) mais vraiment pratique. En ajustant un peu, c'est top !Je recommande
