Enjoyed our stay and the unit was amazing...portions of the apartment were reflective and actually from the renaissance era...our host was very interactive and available and helpful. Great place to stay in Florence.
The apartment is so charming and such a wonderful location. We had a couple of questions and Christina was very quick to respond and also provide us with some wonderful recommendations. Magical !
What a lovely apartment in Florence! Plenty of space, lots of character, and most importantly, the location was absolutely perfect. It was close to so many phenomenal neighborhood restaurants. The best home base for walking around and enjoying the beautiful city of Florence. Thank you for having us!
Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The location was perfect, house was clean and gorgeous, and the communication throughout was very clear.
Thank you! Would recommend to a friend!
This is a beautiful well-appointed apartment in a historic building, in an excellent location just a few blocks from the Duomo. We stayed four nights and could easily walk to all the major sights and restaurants.
The building reflects the history of the location. The apartment was furnished to match the classic architecture and we enjoyed modern amenities. It’s a beautifully furnished home in a quiet part of Florence. We were able to walk to all our destinations. It was a treat to stay here!
Spacious, clean apartment close to everything. Short walk to Piazza della Signoria with Neptune fountain and Arno River at Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Restaurants and shops all around. We walked with our luggage from Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
This property was situated between the Arno river and train station, right next to Ufizze so a great location. The host was easy to reach and the property was as advertised. The bathroom/shower could stand to be updated; instructions for the washer and the microwave did not work. The bed was very comfortable. Overall a good experience.
This apartment was a great location for us in the pedestrian area. All of the museums, cathedrals, shopping and dining were within easy walking distance. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. And it was located on a quiet side street. It was nice to have a washing machine too. Communicating with the host was easy and they were very responsive.
You can’t get better than this location wise! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this magical Renaissance apartment. It was spacious, clean, and the communication with Christina was excellent. She always responded in minutes. There was a plumbing issue with the apartment that was fixed within hours, with no impact to our stay thanks to her excellent communication. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here for your trip to Florence!! Also- very very cool to stay in a building this old! So much history.
This was our 3rd visit to Florence, so we knew the area we wanted to be in. This location was perfect, with walking access to all the key sites, and literally only 2-3 minutes to the Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Arno River. The apartment was more than ample for 2 people, and though it is not fancy, it had all the basics (clean, comfy, roomy). Cristina and her team gave us clear info on getting in and getting out of the apartment, and for the one minor potential issue we raised, Cristina had it checked out immediately. We would use this location again!

It was okay
It was okay. All the VRBO’s I’ve stayed at have been wonderful. This one had a 9.8 and I don’t know how. I had asked in the first communication with the host to leave sheets for the fold out couch and there were no sheets. The mattress pad was dirty on the fold out couch. Dish towels were stained.Just not exactly as the pictures showed. The location was wonderful and the pillows were good. That’s the best I have to say about it
We so enjoyed our stay in a medieval property. It was well furnished, quite clean, and instructions to get there, and how to maintain it were clear. Any noise from previous reviews is no longer an issue. Host was accommodating of our 12 month old. Communication could have been better; sometimes it was great, and sometimes I was left hanging with information that would have been helpful in packing for our trip/cleaning up.
The apartment's location can't be beat! It is on a quiet side street in the old city within walking distance to the Duomo, the Uffizi, and many other sites and restaurants. Its a period apartment, clean, comfortable. It is on the second floor with 30 steps to the door so may not work for those who can't climb stairs. The landlady, Cristina, was very responsive. We suggested to her that the apartment would benefit from a manual with recommended restaurants, locations of markets, TV and A/C instructions, and perhaps a map. We would stay there again!
I love my little apartment in the middle of the historic district of Florence. Everything was needed as a pin, and I loved the wooden beams above my head and the little walk up window overlooking the tiny side street.
I was also grateful that the air conditioning in the bedroom worked, as it actually reached 100° one of the days I stayed there.
But it was convenient enough that I could go out in the morning and do something fun grab a caffè e il cornetto, and then slip back into the apartment to chill and relax during the hottest part of the day. Then I could go back out for the late afternoon and evening with that late dinner in the beautiful Florence evening..
Very nice, comfortable and quiet place in the heart of Florence. We rented a car there to continue our trip and the manager recommended a good spot to park, not an easy thing in Italy. The only thing that you can improve is the check-in process. I was asked to provide too much information too many times and was never sure if it did go through or not. It was much easier in all the other properties we stayed. But excellent anyway.
The Vrbo description and photos are accurate for this apartment. It worked well for me and my wife. Cristina was helpful and easy to deal with. The use of a lockbox with key inside made check-in and check-out convenient. (No need to wait for someone to let you in.) The location is very close to the Uffìzzi Gallery and Palazzo Vecchio but the street is quiet. The A/C is only in the bedroom and kept us cool all night despite daytime temperatures above 32°C/90°F.
Cet appartement est idéalement situé, tout est à portée de marche. Il est propre, confortable et très grand pour 2 pers. Sa proximité des lieux emblématiques permet de venir faire une pause en journée. Un super séjour.
