The small apartment is antique, furnished with original Tuscan objects, you will find a super-equipped kitchenette, an antique wardrobe from the 17th century, a stone staircase leading to the toilet served as a shower. In the living room you will find everything you need to rest. The location will be useful for visiting the whole center of Florence, the main museums, the monumental churches, the closest one, S. Felicita contains the wonderful deposition of Pontormo, a 16th century Florentine painter. The best restaurants in town are all in the nearby streets. Ideal place for short stays in Florence.

On January 17, 2025, we found the bathroom was full of mold, we used bleach to clean the shower and around sink and bought a fan to run to try to prevent more from forming. The kitchen also had black mold. We did not notice this at check in as the host sent her son who did not show us anything and had a difficult time responding to our questions. The bedroom and bathroom are subterranean and you have to go down scary steps to these rooms, very uncomfortable, smelled moldy and not in the VRBO description. The front door opens to the noisy street, very scary when returning after dark as it is a remote alley street. We tried to explain all this to the host and we tried to make the apartment work. Our granddaughter is staying there and is studying abroad. She is allergic to mold and was sick from the start. She visited a pharmacy to get medications and mostly she traveled so she did not have to stay there. We even bought a dehumidifier to run which did help some with dampness. There is no closet for clothes, the furniture is very old and it the place needs updating bad.We let the landlord know we found a new apartment in Florence and she moved out early on Feb 24. We had prepaid through May 10. We asked for any reimbursement from the landlord and was told she would try to reimburse 1000 and then again in April see if the place had rented to reimburse additional. She said we had to just trust which we did as she has been trying to be understanding.When we looked at the apartmen

Bel appartement pratique et original, très bien placé. Malheureusement très sombre pour la pièce principale, en sous sol pour la chambre, salle de bain très humide, pas de lumière naturelle. Aération en ouvrant la fenêtre sur rue qui est très bruyante.

Jag och min dotter stannade i 4 nätter. Vi var supernöjda. Lägenheten ligger väldigt centralt, men på en lugn gata. Det är en liten studiolägenhet med vardsgsrum och kök på entréplan och sovrumvoch badrum i källaren. Lägenheten är ren och väldigt dekorativt och smakfullt inredd med antika möbler. Det är omsorg om detaljerna. Det finns extra handdukar och lakan. Det fanns vatten och mjölk i kylen. Ägaren bjöd på en flaska prosecco och det fanns en stor flaska med egengjord, ekologisk olivolja som smakade fantastiskt. Detta är absolut en av de bästa lägenheter jag bott i. En dag råkade vi låsa ute oss själva med nyckeln kvar inne i lägenheten. Ägaren hjälpte oss snabbt att lösa problemet och städerskan kunde komma och öppna för oss. Jag har bott på andra ställen i Florens, men denna lägenhet kommer jag absolut återvända till. Tack!
