This apartment was exactly like the photos and description. Our communication with Lorenzo (who manages the property) was easy and timely. We met the owners respresentative in front of the building at the scheduled time. She walked us through the apartment showing each room and amenites including laundry detergent (yes there is a washer in the unit). The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we need for our stay. Plenty of towels, bath tissue, etc. Carefours supermarket is just a 6 min walk away and had all the food and beverage items we desired (including the best strawberries I ever had). The unit was very quiet.. no street sounds. The area itself was rather perfect.. just 5 mins walk to hustled tourist areas. Several restaurants within 5-10 mins away and where locals frequent.. and the food was all very good ! The area is very safe and all local businesses speak English quite well. Restaurant recommendations within 5 mins: Antica Trattoria da Tito ( 2 blocks), Vieria 54 Ross (4 blocks - 5 mins - Great sandwiches and wines by the glass). Miro Restaurante ( 4 blocks - 5 mins - pizza made the Napoli way). Ristorante Il Foyer ( 4 blocks - 5mins - Elegant, fantastic Tuscan menu, very attentive staff). Of course about 12 steps outside the unit building - a very lovely pastry shop. I will definately stay in this unit again on our next trip to Firenze.
