The hotel was beautiful the staff was friendly and was meticulously clean. We liked the bar area that overlooked the bay. We spent one day on beach and loved going into the ocean. The lunch was very good on the beach and had many choices. I also had a relaxation massage that was amazing. We were with another couple and walked to the center of town for dinner. Would def stay again.

The hotel is located right on the water with fantastic views in all directions. While the decor is dated, it’s well maintained and the various sculptures and vases add to the sumptuous atmosphere. The staff were always happy to help. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent especially the breakfast and dinner buffet. We really appreciated the transportation from the airport and then to the cruise port. The rooms could use a refresher and a heads up on the fireworks would have been appreciated. We loved our time here with only a couple of issues 1. The room needed a more complete cleaning and 2. had to ask for extra towels as they only had one towel for the two of us each day. Breakfast buffet was amazing and staff were great the view was breathtaking from our room balcony

Great location for Valetta and surrounding areas, 10min stroll into city centre, great pool and access to the sea. Great room service, always lots of water provided and kept clean above what we expected. Food is OK but so much to choose from in Valetta I would recommend eating out if you can.

Must have been lovely when it was first built, but really needs * reviewing now in its present state. Repeatedly poor restocking of plates and glasses at buffet breakfasts, but good selection of cold and cooked food. Some tables with cloths and mats, others no covering. Scrawny paper napkins!? Furniture dusty. Seating in reception, fillings to chair backings sagging and trim missing, (but beautiful scrolled arms). Beds Very Firm/hard - unlike anywhere else we have stayed. Compared with the Oceania cruise which we had disembarked from it was most disappointing in so many areas.
