Log cabin with views of Rondane mountains

"A truly unforgettable place. Without a doubt, the most beautiful cottage in terms of location that I’ve ever seen. The view of Rondane is breathtaking, and the tranquility is almost beyond belief. During the entire week we were there, we heard nothing but silence, birds, and the occasional bleat of a sheep. The cottage was incredibly clean, neat, and tidy. The battery with the solar panel is more than enough for charging and lighting, and cooking went very well. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. Now it even features a luxurious sauna. But above all, this is simply an incredibly special place. Authentic, surrounded by nature, and with an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. It felt like an honor to be able to stay here. Mari, thank you so much for sharing this special place with others. Good to know: the road leading there is only fully passable with a slightly higher-clearance vehicle. We had no trouble getting there with a Rav4."

"An awesome stay in this modern and absolutely beautiful house! We truly enjoyed every moment — biking, hiking, and simply chilling by the fire while taking in the most gorgeous views over Savalen. The house is everything you could dream of: modern, cozy and warm, especially when it’s chilly and rainy outside. And the huge windows make the view even more spectacular. Our only “neighbour” was a little hare, occasionally hopping past the big window. 🐇❤️ A truly wonderful place to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the beauty of Savalen!"

"The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was as described. The stay was a pleasure. Only problem we had, was that we were charged twice for the room. But that has been rectified now."

"Amazing vacation home! The vacation home had everything we needed for a wonderful week. There were fantastic views from every room. There are plenty of hiking and running trails right from the house."
