Shangri-La is a comfortable, eclectic condo located in the heart of Center Street, which puts you a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach and right in the middle of the Folly Beach restaurant & shop row! This cozy Folly Beach condo is perfect for a weekend or weekly getaway for a small family or group of friends. Inside the condo is a small kitchen and living room which is complete with a full size fridge & stove, dining table and cable TV.

Guests enter Shangri-La by walking up the exterior stairs from the parking lot behind the building. Once you enter the beautiful blue front door, you will find a kitchenette; a dining area that comfortably seats 4 people; a living room; the bathroom with combined tub & shower; and the bedroom with two brand new queen-sized Tempur-pedic mattresses and cable TV. Off-street parking for medium sized car in one dedicated but compact parking space in the parking lot is included in the rental rate. No oversized trucks please.

We had a great time using this cozy condo that is a short walk to the beach. The furnishings were cute, the bathroom was new and the beds were comfy. Close to everything in Folly Beach. We would love to return!

Perfect location and condo

I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a simple condo in the PERFECT location. Comfortable beds and great hospitality. The one thing we wished we had was a washer and dryer.

We have stayed in Charleston area for the last 20 yrs. This was our first time staying in the Folly Beach area. We were blown away by the location of this place. Just a couple minutes of walking and you can be anywhere from the restaurants to the beach. We will be staying here again!

Perfect location for small family or friend trip!

Shangri-La is a great place to stay for a family of four. The condo is located in the middle of downtown Folly and is so close to the beach. Hauling all of your beach stuff is no problem with the one minute walk to the ocean. The facility had every amenity needed for the price that we paid. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location!

We couldn’t have asked for a better centralized location to stay in. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we would need (even if we didn’t use everything!) we loved being able to walk everywhere within minutes. Condo is adorable and very clean as well! Looking forward to coming back!

Mother/daughter getaway

Condo was clean, super cute. Perfect for a beach getaway. Condo was also centrally located at Folly beach. You only needed to use car with traveling outside Folly beach. Lots to do, great restaurants all around, will definitely go back. The only drawback was no beach chairs and no small cooler to bring stuff to beach. Folly beach was super windy, sand everywhere, especially laying on towels. And it was super hot and humid out so our drinks got hot quickly.

So Relaxing

Our stay at the Center Street condo was perfect! We love being in the middle of things and walking to everything. Lovely beach themed decorations! Easy access to restaurants, shopping, grocery, local activities, and the beach. Condo equipped with everything we might need for our trip. Love hearing the nightlife from the front of the condo but being able to retreat to the back for some quiet. We will be back!

Great Get Away

This is my second time staying at Shangri-La and it was awesome. This time I brought my 19 year old triplets and they loved being in walking distance to everything. My 6"3 son even said the sleep sofa was comfortable. You can't beat the location of this condo. I will say if your a light sleeper or if you like to go to bed early it does stay pretty loud with the restaurants and bars being so close. This would be perfect for a bachelorette weekend. We will definitely be back.

Family ocean experience

This property was perfectly located in the heart of Folly Beach. We were steps away from great restaurants, shops, and the beach. We spent several days swimming and boogie boarding in the ocean. We broke up the beach days with several activities including sea turtle hatching at Edisto Island and the South Carolina Aquarium. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We had a dedicated parking spot which was great but it was sometimes pretty tight getting in and out due to the proximity of other vehicles. Other than parking, we couldn’t have been more pleased.

A Total Dream!

My husband and I spent a week at the Shangri-La and it was a total dream! The space was spotless and very nicely decorated. We had plenty of clean towels, sheets, and even complimentary beach towels and chairs! The kitchen was well appointed and helped us to feel right at home during our stay. This condo is located right in the heart of Folly on Centre Street. It was such a perk to easily run downstairs for a trip to the coffee shop, Bert’s Market or fabulous drinks/dinner at a local spot. You can also be on the beach in less than five minutes, a very easy stroll from the condo. You can’t beat that!

Folly Beach

The Folly beach condo was great and met the description to the t. The communication was prompt and directions along with parking information was exact. The parking is tight (as one would expect being so close to the beach) and there was someone initially parked in my unit spot. With a prompt response from Steven the issue was resolved. The condo was clean and stocked with clean linens and necessary kitchen accessories for a comfortable stay. I will gladly return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks again for a great stay!!

What a fun place!

We walked in #5 and loved the decor immediately. So bright and cheerful! Wonderful linens, kitchen fully equipped, bathroom tiny! My son said he could sit on the john and brush his teeth at the same time. We didn't care! The place was spotless. Hardwood floors are so handy at the beach. It was fun to be in the middle of Main Street with its "quirky" atmosphere. Like Tybee Island 20 years ago. Never had a bad meal at Folly. Beach was a walk through parking lots, so troubles there. Only negatives on the condo was one of the beach chairs was broken, and the sleeper sofa needs to be replaced (ouch!) We will definitely return to Folly and Unit #5

Perfect proximity and relaxed fun

We had a fairly cool and rainy week of weather. While we spent time on the beach daily, we did spend quite a bit of time in the Shangrila Condo. It was comfortable, easy, quiet, and relaxed. It worked well for our cooking and meal needs. Great sized fridge. Plenty of cabinet space for prep. Water was always hot enough! This cosy bungalow is surrounded by the fun spots of Folly Beach. A single block stood between the unit and Folly Pier. All of this worked beautifully. Lastly, I will compliment the owners. Outside their control and mine, our arrival day was in heavy rains and poor visibility. A 5 hour trip took 8. As we drove into Folly Beach, I couldn’t even recognize landmarks with downpour and fog. The owners helped me get reoriented and find where to park, showing kind hospitality.

Perfection

The condo was perfect. Location, location, location was perfect. It was close to the beach, close to the shops, and close to all the restaurants. It had everything you need in a vacation at Folly Beach. Communication from host was great and we will definitely stay here again!
