No problem with off road parking as you'll find plenty at this home as you enter the long private driveway that suddenly opens into a breathtaking view of the Folly Island Inlet to your ultimate private getaway. Put your boat in the water at the boat landing (4 blocks away) and bring that boat trailer back to the "Sunset" House for safe parking. Plenty of room for that!


Your own private deepwater dock (with water and electricity) beckons for easy access to your boat, quiet sunrise coffees, dolphin sightings, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, swimming, or sunset views bathed in fiery coastal hues only seen from this side of the Island! Embrace serenity in the lush outdoors and observe so much coastal wildlife. Continue to rejuvenate on several decks and nooks or gather around the fire pit beneath a starlit sky.

Equipped with beach chairs, beach wagons, umbrellas, and outdoor furniture, everything is in place for effortless beach days and peaceful nights. Whether you’re seeking a romantic hideaway, a family escape, or a tranquil retreat, this Folly Beach haven blends convenience and privacy for an unforgettable stay.



A golf cart is highly recommended as this home is on the backside of the Island with all of its beauty and peacefulness it is about 8 blocks to dip your toes in the sand at the beach and about 6 blocks from the business district. Walkable but MORE enjoyable and relaxing with a golf cart especially since this house is also located in the middle of Folly Beach and you have about 3 1/2 miles on either side of you to explore. Loaded with wonderful sights to experience such as the bird sanctuary, the historic light house at one end of the Island and the beautiful Folly Beach County Park and Sunset Cay Marina on the other end of the Island with all kinds of wonders in between! It will so enhance your stay.


If you are planning to bring a pet, they must be preapproved at booking or shortly thereafter. Certain guidelines apply such as breed, weight being under 40 lbs., and must be over 3 yrs. of age. A nonrefundable Pet Addendum will need to be completed along with a nonrefundable deposit.

Pricing for parties bringing a boat is not included in the rental rates of the house as many guests do not bring a boat. This is considered an extra service, and you will be given a reasonable price at booking or shortly thereafter depending on your length of stay.
