Bathing holidays at Lake Balaton: Lake Balaton is a lake in the west of Hungary, which is also the largest lake in Western and Central Europe with an area of 594 km². Due to its shallow depth of 3.25 metres on average, the lake has a relatively high water temperature, which can rise to 30 degrees in summer.
