"The AmericInn in Clear Lake, IA was wonderful. The lobby and rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will absolutely stay there again."
"We got bed bug bites and left a day early.
Spilled some water on the carpet and used a towel to dry it up. The towel was filthy - I don't think the carpet has been cleaned a for long time.
Disappointed with this room, not recommending this place"
"Kitchen area unclean. The front desk was not staffed all the time. Weird smell all over. Old mattresses in the back just strewn aside. Dangerous playground. Burn marks on bed covers."
