My friend and I really enjoyed the spacious cabin! It was cute, cozy and aesthetic!
Plus, the host’s dog, Hiro, came to say hi everyday!
Would highly recommend the place if you’re looking to get away from the city!
Excellent property for a quiet getaway, clean and private with plenty of room and all the amenities… Located in an area with unlimited beautiful places to explore… Waterfalls, lakes, hikes, and walks . Absolutely recommended!
We stayed at this cabin for two nights in May and were lucky to have beautiful weather, which made our experience even better. We traveled as a family with children, and they absolutely loved Hiroo the dog, they still haven’t stopped talking about him. The cabin was very clean, neat, and well-organized, with all the basic kitchen essentials provided. It was also a thoughtful touch from the host to include fresh farm eggs and some milk.It was beautiful to look outside sky full of stars.Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a great experience for the whole family.
Nice cabin, friendly hosts, great for family with younger kids.
Nice cabin, host goes the extra mile with fresh eggs and cream, responsive and friendly. It’s clean and has all the supplies you need in kitchen(dishes, pots, cutlery etc). Listing doesn’t note that there are no doors for bedrooms - therefore no privacy. Window coverings would be nice - sun came up around 5am.family dog Hiro is super sweet and friendly.
The cabin was a great "base camp" for me while working in the area for a few days. It was clean, bright and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings and occasional visits from the family dogs!
clean and quiet cabin. We never heard the land owners in the evenings. perfect amount of indoor space. kitchen was well equipped and clean. bedrooms were comfortable.
Very cute cabin, clean and perfect for what i needed. Could use some blinds in the bedroom for those who aren’t a morning person like myself, but it isn’t super important. Overall had a fantastic stay!

The place might be OK for a passing traveler, but not for a person who is working on the road. The WiFi is not adequate for any internet activity. When I managed to connect the speed the max speed was 370 kbps, you cannot even check email with that. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, and if you lose your footing and try to hang on to something, you could stab your hand with wall decorations.
Hiro the big white dog was the best part of our stay. I wouldn’t recommend this property for seniors or folks with mobility issues. The heating is less than effective… we were “allowed” to use one of the three thermostats in the cabin which powered one electric baseboard by the front door. The problem is that the front door is not sealed, in fact it doesn’t close properly, and all of the heat leaks out. The temperature was hovering around zero/-1 during our stay, and got up to maybe 10 degrees in the cabin with the heat cranked. The property details state the during the winter months, the wood powered heat would be activated… when I inquired about this, because we were freezing, the owner stated that the wood heat is only activated if the temperature hits -10 or below! The bedroom upstairs was freezing throughout our stay and at one point we contemplated bringing the mattress downstairs where it was slightly warmer, but that would have been disastrous. The stairs leading up to the bedroom are very steep and uneven. Coming down the steps can be tricky, but watch your head, because you will smack it off the ceiling going down if you’re any taller than 5’8”. The stairs weren’t the big issue for us because we are able bodied. In summary: for the price we paid per night, it was a little offensive that a few logs couldn’t be sacrificed to make a guest’s stay a little more enjoyable…would not recommend renting in the cooler months or if you are tall or have mobility issues.
A very comfortable stay for a couple or family of four. Fully equipped for anything you might need. An outdoor area with seating and a bbq is especially nice. A special touch is the farm fresh eggs and cream for your cereal or coffee. Highly recommend.
