"I wish we had more positive things to say, but unfortunately our experience with this VRBO host was the perfect example of the growing trend where vacation rentals charge hotel-level prices while delivering… a very enthusiastic fraction of hotel-level service and cleanliness. Upon arrival we found leftover clothing, a used vape, and popcorn kernels sprinkled across the couch. The bathroom had a dirty, wet shower rug that we ended up cleaning and laying out to dry ourselves. We discovered we had run out of toilet paper and after searching every drawer, closet, and pantry, we reluctantly messaged the already irritated host. His response:“There should have been two rolls in the bathroom.” Eventually he agreed to send a DoorDash delivery of toilet paper later that day, which seemed to cause him deep personal inconvenience. We had a few other disappointing experiences during our stay that no paying guest should have to deal with. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with both the condition of the property and the host’s attitude toward paying guests. "

"place had everything we needed - it was a perfect size for a family with two little ones. We would have loved to hangout outside on the patio furniture but unfortunately with toddlers and stairs we stuck to hanging out indoors which was no issue at all. Host was reachable if we needed anything and we had no issues. There's a small fenced area which is perfect for dogs/kids. The door windows don't have coverings/shutters so if you're spooked at night (like I can be) just a heads up!"

"This was the perfect place for our annual family vacation. Although we were hoping to catch some snow, the home was cozy and we still had a great time. The home was fully stocked with all the necessities. "

"Everything was perfect! The hot tub was preheated, the house was very clean, and plenty of space for all of us. The host was very quick in communicating with us and accommodating with a change in the amount of people in our group. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We love Flagstaff and always enjoy the outdoors. The cabin has space and a nice location. Part of the reason we booked this cabin and were willing to pay a premium (it was very expensive) was the fact that there was a hot tub and a fireplace. We felt this was a major plus when coming home after spending cold days outside. The fire place wasn't out of order and the hot tub was removed without letting us know beforehand. Overall, the place needs some attention: the icemaker isn't working, there are holes in the cutlery rack of the dishwasher causing the cutlery the fall through and blocking the whole system. There were no wine glasses (we bought 6 glasses and left them so future guests wouldn't have to deal with that), there was no strainer (to drain pasta for example) and more. The shower knobs in the main floor bathroom are completely loose. They separate from the wall, this can cause a major leak if not taking care off. The list goes on. I tried to communicate with the owner before and after our stay but he never replied to any of my notes. Very disappointing."
